Quality Management System.
In 2007 we were granted the ISO 9001:2000 certification for our Quality.
Our aim is to define “Best practice” at all levels (patient relation,
treatments, follow-up, billing, etc) and to give quality, evidence-based
treatments provided by all of our practitioners.
For this reason al our procedures and guidelines are described in an
internal document representing a guide for our daily activities.
Timely maintenance of our offices and equipment enhances the high quality
standards available in our clinics.
Patient satisfaction
We are attentive to patient needs and expectations. We take into
consideration their personal situation. All proposed Dental treatments are
explained in great detail and an estimate is given to every patient.
Continuous Improvement Process
To keep informed through continuous education is a global effort and
considered as part of everyone’s responsibility among our staff.
This process was implemented in order to keep up with the latest scientific
findings and is shared by everyone in our clinics.
Customer satisfaction forms are available (in the waiting room and online)
to our patients so they can give us their suggestions.
Outsourced Sterilization
The safety of our patients is No 1 priority for us, legal conformity is an
obligation and ISO defines it as a condition.
For all these reasons we have decided to outsource our sterilization to a
specialized company ( SteriSwiss ) able to guarantee that this process is
done according to the latest scientific findings and legal requirements.
This way we can avoid the use of low quality, high environmental impact,
"Single use" instruments.
Environment
The following best shows our contribution to the global effort for
environment protection:
- Amalgam separation - - Each of our dental units is equipped with a
device called "Metasys", permitting the separation of heavy metals,
particularly toxic mercury, from our wastewater. This special waste is
eliminated in a secure and ecological manner.
- Digital Radiology - Digital radiology makes possible 80% reduction
of radiation exposure to patients. Moreover, it is no longer necessary
to use chemicals for the development of the traditional films and lead
waste is eliminated.
- "Lead-free fillings" - The exclusive use of composite resins for
fillings permits us to avoid the handling and circulation of alloys
containing toxic components (mercury in molecular phase).
- "Paperless Office" - Our data processing system enables us to
eliminate paper files by using a networked database, electronic
organizer, email system thus replacing traditional letters.
- Paper recycling - We use recycled paper for our drafts and internal
printings.
- Selective sorting waste - At each site of Clinique Dentaire de
Genève, our staff uses various recipients for selective sorting: paper,
PET (polyethylene), special waste (needles and chemicals).
