Preventive Dentistry:
our qualified dental hygienists will clean and
meticulously polish your teeth, detect any cavities and give you advice to
help you maintain a healthy dentition.
Caries:
Teeth require fillings when a part has broken or decayed. These
decayed tissues will be replaced with the latest technology filling materials,
reconstructing the shape of the tooth and it’s initial color. Your dentist
might use a lab-made filling which is called inlay and onlay to provide the
maximum strength to reconstruct the tooth, when the cavity is bigger.
A 3rd generation dental dental laser can be used during decay removal in order to
avoid the use of conventional dental “drill” and the treatment can be
performed painlessly with no need for injections. (child friendly)
Root-canal treatments: If your tooth got infected, a root-canal treatment
will be necessary. For difficult cases, an operatory microscope can be used
for greater precision, small hidden fissures in the structure of the root can
be detected at this time.
Crowns:
When the tooth destruction is bigger, the tooth is covered and
protected by a crown, restoring the initial shape and function. For beautiful
esthetic results, zirconium, can be used. (excellent biocompatibility too)
Gum treatments:
Bleeding gums can be a sign of periodontal disease.
This inflammatory disease attacks the gums, bones and other supporting
structures of the teeth. This problem will be dealt with initially by one of
our hygienists, and then if necessary, by a specialized dentist.
Cosmetic dentistry for missing teeth:
Seek to maximize the functional
and aesthetic nature of your smile. Different solutions are available for
missing teeth:
- Bridges: adjacent teeth are prepared and linked together by the
(intermediary) missing tooth thus replacing it. They can be made out
of ceramic on gold, ceramic on Chrome cobalt or ceramic on
zirconia for more natural results.
- Implants: a modern solution for replacing missing teeth. We use
Swiss made Straumann implants, one of the best on the market.
These implants are used to support crowns, bridges or dentures.
- Dentures : For removable dentures, we can use attachments, which
help to stabilize the prosthesis, invisibly.
Straightening:
our orthodontist uses a global approach. The age of the
patient determines the technique to be used:
Early stage: children between the ages of 5 to 8: treatment on
the jaw (skeletal support) balance + action on muscles and "bad
habits" and re-education in order to normalize the breathing,
swallowing, chewing, and even the posture.
Adolescence stage: traditional braces glued on the teeth but at the same
time taking into consideration the effect on bone support and
functional disorders (breathing, swallowing, chewing and posture).
Adult stage: treatment of bone support is only possible through surgery
which we perform in our clinics. However, other procedures are
available, such as Invisalign®, using removable transparent aligners
that are changed every 15 days. This technique is ideal for active
adults.
Whitening:
(done on healthy, caries-free teeth) during the initial
consultation, we will determine the best whitening procedure to be used in
your case. The three methods are:
The "in-office" method: a fast technique using light activation
"Home-bleaching" using custom-made dental trays of your mouth
Whitening of an isolated tooth: following a root canal treatment
