Why this material:
- Zirconia (zirconium oxyde) has exceptional rigidity. This enables us to carry out large restorations with improved mechanical prognosis.
- Its perfect stability at very high temperatures ensures that the framework will not become deformed during the burning of the various ceramic layers. Therefore, the prostheses will adjust perfectly.
- The absence of metal framework, which the dental technician normally has to mask by different opaque ceramic layers, makes it possible to produce thin crowns, thus saving healthy tissue during preparation of teeth.
- Finally, thanks to this technique, the aesthetic results are excellent because the underlying metal no longer stops the light. Therefore, the light can pass through the crown and restore the natural appearance of the tooth.
